We take responsibility.

Everyone talks about sustainability - and rightly so. Because only those who treat their environment, nature and people with care will benefit in the long term. That's why we at Schäfer Shop don't just talk about it, we act. For example, with the help of an internal project group that deals with and promotes all relevant topics across all departments - from recycling cups in the company canteen to saving tons of paper in our catalogue production. We are constantly working to become even better in terms of sustainability, internally, but also taking into account our entire supply chain as well as our service and product portfolio.

We are fully aware of our responsibility to the environment and to people, and it is a matter close to our hearts to conserve and promote our most important resources as best we can.

We are not available for empty promises: Like any industrial company, we put a strain on the environment, that's a fact and simply cannot be avoided. However, we do everything we can to conserve our resources as much as possible and not to consume raw materials unnecessarily.

Day after day, we work on becoming more sustainable. Not because it sounds good, not because it is "the right thing to do", but out of deep conviction. We have already achieved a lot in the last few years. For us, this is just an incentive to continue on our path. Because the future begins now.

We set
a good example.

We want our suppliers and partners to have a clear focus on sustainability. We are equally pleased when our customers make use of our sustainable products and services.

Of course, we also live this ourselves: 2 trained CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and sustainability managers as well as a cross-departmental project group are dedicated to this topic. For example, we will soon be switching completely to LED lighting. And we still have a lot of plans!

Sustainable marketing thanks to
artificial intelligence.

We continue to rely on our catalogues and print advertising media. But we rely on artificial intelligence - on quality instead of quantity. No two of our modular catalogues are the same: Our clientele receives advertising materials that are individually tailored to their needs. In this respect, we are the clear pioneer in our industry and were awarded the "Catalogue of the Year" in Germany in 2021 by the German E-Commerce and Distance Selling Trade Association (BEVH). And in figures does that mean? Internationally, we save 700 tonnes of paper with every print run - and send them climate-neutrally in Switzerland with Quickmail.
