Plotter paper

Plotter paper is often available as continuous paper rolls and is inserted into large format printers that print on formats such as DIN A1. Have you run out of paper for your plotter or do you know that you will need to put larger projects or posters on paper again in the future? Then take a look in our online shop for the right paper rolls for your plotter.

What is plotter paper?

Plotter paper comes on a roll and is designed for large format printers (plotters), usually laser or inkjet printers. You can find suitable paper rolls for your plotter in various formats. It is particularly suitable for posters and billboards and is mainly used in industry and commerce, but it is also well suited for the construction industry to be able to put large construction drawings on paper. In our online shop you will find different versions of the paper rolls.

Plotter paper, coated or uncoated?

Coated plotter paper provides a high image quality with brilliant colours and is therefore suitable for impressive graphics and presentations. Another advantage is the enormous drying speed. Special photo paper with a matt or glossy surface ensures excellent colour reproduction and sharpness of detail. Uncoated plotter paper is the cheaper option due to its thin format. It guarantees a consistently high quality, but is not suitable for prints with two-dimensional colour application. On the other hand, it is ideal for printing lines, for example for large drawings.

The different paper thicknesses

Not only the coating of the sheets is decisive for the choice of paper, but also the paper weight. The paper thickness of plotter paper is indicated by the grammage. In our shop you have the possibility to choose from different variants. The information is given in grams per square metre. The greater the weight, the higher the paper density. Light plotter papers are often used for presentations, whereas medium to heavy plotter papers can be used especially well for stable posters and billboards.

The right plotter paper roll for your needs

Choose between different rolls in our online shop. In width, the paper usually corresponds to the common A4, A3, A2, A1 or A0 dimensions, whereas the length of the plotter paper is not cut to size. Mainly the paper is available in white, but sometimes also in colours like neon yellow, neon orange or neon green. This way you can achieve maximum attention for your poster. In addition, the paper in our shop is mostly printable on both sides, so you can print almost without restrictions.

Take a look around our online shop and discover the right plotter paper roll for your needs.
